Christine N. Hawes JD

Christine established Hawes Mediation and Consulting in 2016 with the goal of creating a path for clients to resolve issues, begin new chapters, and have a voice in the parts of their new chapter that mattered most.

Christine has worked in various industries, from working in a rehabilitation center as a counselor and teacher, navigating through national and state political campaigns, rescuing and rehabilitating dogs, and owning small businesses. Through it all, there has been one common factor: connection. Christine ensures that all of her clients feel comfortable and are able to have open communication through any of the services offered through Hawes Mediation and Consulting.

She has dedicated herself to the world of alternative dispute resolution and mediation for over a decade, with her practice being the first in the Commonwealth to offer Pet Custody Mediation and Non Marital Separation Mediation. 

When Christine is not working with her clients, she is a consultant for law firms for family and animal law matters. Additionally, she is a partner in her family's marine business, offering an additional 17 years of personal business ownership and expertise to small business clients.

In her downtime, you can find Christine supporting small businesses, adventuring with her son, Anthony and her dog Duke. She has a love for Maine and the beach, taking care of her ducks, and spending time at home.
